What people are saying about the NEW Healthy Harness product offering …

On September 1, 2025, Healthy Harness supported its local community by purchasing a vendor stall at Riverdale's Annual Labor Day Street Fair. We met with dog lovers from all over New Jersey and New York to gauge interest in our new premium line of dog harnesses and accessories. The response was amazing, with dozens of people buying our products to enhance the health, safety, comfort, and performance of their canine companions. We heard stories of rambunctious puppies who struggled with pulling, slower pace seniors who struggled with finding a proper fit, and other dogs who could not find what they need in the marketplace. We sold harnesses and leashes to dogs ranging from 8 lbs. to 200 lbs. We learned a lot about what customers are looking for and we would like to share our findings.

Healthy Harness at Riverdale Labor Day Street Fair

1) Each pet parent and their dog has different needs

Some focus on a no choke, no pull, no escape design that helps prevent injury. Others want extra comfort and style. Shoppers told us they liked that Healthy Harness offers three harness styles, three colors, and six sizes. There is truly something for everyone. If control is the goal, a no pull dog harness with a front clip helps reduce towing. If security matters most, an escape proof dog harness with a snug chest shape and adjustable belly strap helps prevent slip outs. If comfort leads, a padded dog harness with breathable mesh keeps walks easy. Our range covers small dog harness and large dog harness fits up to 200 pounds.

2) Many did not realize the risks of collars for daily walks

People shared concerns about neck strain, skin issues, and muscle problems from collar pressure. A good fitting adjustable dog harness spreads force across the chest instead of the throat. Choosing a no choke dog harness can help prevent injuries and keep daily walks more comfortable.

3) Pulling is common because of opposition reflex

Opposition reflex is a natural reaction where dogs push or pull against pressure. It shows up when a dog leans into a tight leash or braces when held. Our designs include a front chest attachment point that turns forward drive into a gentle turn back toward you. That is why many visitors called ours the best dog harness for pulling after a short demo. Start with the chest ring for training, then switch to the back ring once walks feel calm.

4) People want function and fashion together

Visitors liked safety features such as reflective trim and traffic handles, and they also cared about clean colors and a sleek look. A comfortable dog harness can perform well and still look great in the city or on the trail. That balance guides how we choose materials, trims, and colors.

5) Happy dogs make happy owners

Some customers focus on daily exercise. Others love nature walks, car rides, or time at the dog park. A well fitted no pull dog harness supports these routines. Use the chest ring for control near distractions and the back ring for relaxed strolls. The traffic handle helps at curbs and in crowds. One adjustable dog harness can cover many moments in a day.

6) Dogs come in many shapes and sizes

We fitted dogs from eight pounds to two hundred pounds, with many body types in between. Six sizes and multiple adjustment points let families get a confident fit. Start with chest measurement behind the front legs. If between sizes, choose the larger and tighten. Aim for a two finger check under the strap. This approach works for both small dogs and large dogs.

7) People want different leash styles

Harnesses are not the only choice that matters. Some prefer a strap leash with multiple padded handles for close work at intersections. Others like a rope leash that feels light and smooth on longer walks. Both use metal fittings and strong materials. Many shoppers chose a dog harness with free leash bundle for value and simplicity.

8) Durability and value matter

Customers told us they were glad to find gear that is well made at a fair price. We do not offer flimsy strap harnesses or cheap leashes. We design for daily use, with strong webbing, clean stitching, and reinforced stress points. A durable dog harness saves money over time because it lasts.

9) Metal hardware inspires confidence

Several people shared stories about plastic buckles that failed during a lunge. We use metal buckles and metal connectors on the key points that carry load. If you have a strong puller or a large breed, a durable dog harness with metal buckles gives extra confidence on busy streets.

10) Premium gear should come with real support

A clear warranty and helpful service matter. If the harness or leash does not meet expectations, we offer a replacement or refund. If a size or color is off, our team helps you swap. We stand behind our products and the community we serve, one hundred percent of the time.
